Our Methodology

How We Work

Most consultancies hand over a report and leave. We hand over the report, and then keep the instruments running so you can see whether the plan is working.

Five stages, and the last one loops back.

Discover

We start with what you own, what you already know about it, and where the record is thin. Site assessment, asset register audit, and a data gap analysis give us the baseline to work from.

Typical deliverables:

  • Asset register review
  • Condition assessment report
  • Data maturity evaluation
  • Gap analysis

Instrument

Where the data does not exist, we go and get it. Sensored units are installed on the critical assets, existing SCADA and monitoring feeds are connected, and the data path is commissioned end to end before anyone starts drawing conclusions from it.

Typical deliverables:

  • Sensor deployment plan
  • Integration architecture
  • Data acquisition commissioning

Analyse

Vibration, temperature, and operational data are processed through methods that hold up in front of an engineer: band-resolved frequency analysis, trend tracking, and CUSUM change detection against each asset's own baseline. The output says what is degrading and how quickly.

Typical deliverables:

  • Condition analysis reports
  • Trend dashboards
  • Anomaly detection alerts
  • Risk models

Recommend

Recommendations you can trace back to a measurement. Risk-prioritised maintenance plans, capital investment forecasts, and asset management roadmaps, aligned with ISO 55001 and the regional standards that apply to your sector.

Typical deliverables:

  • Maintenance strategy
  • Investment plan
  • Risk register
  • Management system documentation

Monitor

The report is not the end of the engagement. Sensored keeps recording, thresholds get retuned as the assets settle into their monitored behaviour, and we review the strategy with you as the asset base changes.

Typical deliverables:

  • Ongoing monitoring dashboards
  • Periodic review reports
  • Alert management
  • Strategy updates

Grounded in international best practice.

Our methodology aligns with ISO 55001 (Asset Management Systems) and ISO 31000 (Risk Management) frameworks, ensuring your organisation meets international best practice from engagement to ongoing operation. For rail clients, we work within EN 13848 and relevant national standards. For oil and gas, we align with API 580/581 risk-based inspection standards and applicable ADNOC codes of practice.
